Reiki Therapy

Reiki is a Japanese term meaning universal (rei) energy (ki).  It is not a religious or faith based tradition.  Reiki is administered through hands with the client lying fully clothed on a massage table. Singleton places her hands near locations around the head, shoulders, torso, abdomen, legs, and feet. Tissues are not manipulated. Reiki energy flows from Singleton's hands into the client’s body and energy field.

Reiki is practiced in over 800 hospitals across the US as part of an integrated approach to care. These hospitals include Cleveland Clinic,
John Hopkins, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and many more. Studies demonstrate a reduction in blood pressure, pain, nausea, anxiety, and stress. Reiki may also reduce many side effects related to chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical procedures.

Distance Reiki has the same healing benefits as an office visit, as Singleton uses the Distance Symbol to send Reiki energy over the phone or online to the client’s bio-field .
