The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an eight-week psycho-educational course designed to teach people how to better take care of themselves and participate fully in improving the health and quality of their lives, as they work with various types of “stressors” or challenges that are self-limiting. Participants learn coping skills and practices to help fully integrate mindfulness into their lives. The MBSR class was created in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness. This is one of the most well-known evidence-based mindfulness programs. Before participating in the MBSR course we ask that you review any questions you have with Singleton.

Often, bias awareness and racial acceptance training does not effectively help participants with lasting presence and awareness of opportunities to choose and promote unbiased and racially acceptable behavior.
Grounded in the foundational practices of mindfulness, mBRCE™ can help individuals and organizations evolve to habitual inclusion and equity. Participants learn to relinquish biases and racial intolerance with compassion and empathy. Classes are structured to help individuals unlearn biased and racially inappropriate beliefs and behavior while communicating authentically, without judgment.
mBRCE™ draws on the science of neuroplasticity; specifically, we train and practice, choosing to live better together on this planet, mindfully. Please contact us for program and scheduling details.
The first step is to connect. Please let me know how I can help develop and support your mindfulness practice.
